Senate Action...Impact Fee

Minutes ago, the Senate Appropriations Committee reported the impact fee bill without amendment.  An amendment offered by Senator Yudichak to raise to fee to roughly 600,000 per well, strip out the local zoning language and change the setbacks from the bore hole to the edge of the wellpad was defeated 13 to 13.  Three Republican Senators (Baker, Greenleaf & Vance) did not acquiesce to Senator Scarnati’s request for a no vote and voted with the Democrats.
